#3 - I think it's all a bit of a joke - I watched the interview CBC had with one of the 'offenders' and she does seem a bit of an attention seeker and wants her 15 minutes. If the cop does get admonished, that would be more worrying.
The ex bootneck in the UK naked rambling, that really deserves more attention - that guy has done serious time!

There is definitely a double standard involved. I for one think all women should be as free as men to be topless. ;)

It's a dangerous path.....This is one of 'those' that you have to say 'No......' I've trouble with seeing 'man-boobs' in the mirror let alone a stranger on the streets. There is also the argument which I think the 'offender' dismissed out of hand - that they are sexual organs. The argument being, if you're faced with them everywhere you look from the year dot, they will cease to be that. That was her 'argument' - "they can be sexual when I say so"! Well - I'm sorry, it doesn't work like that.

They are meant to feed offspring....how exactly are they sexual organs? They aren't genitalia. Is a cow's udder a sexual organ???

I know I know...they have been sexualized over time. But this is almost completely psychological.

That's the point though - you can't have it both ways - either everbody walks around topless and they cease to be at least 'sexualised' organs or we don't and they are and that's probably where that girl didn't realise she can't have it both ways......dangerous path indeed :D
