Aborting 960 on the first move is common?

I was wondering why it seems to be common for people to abort 960 games so quickly if you don't move almost immediately. I like to look at the starting position and consider what to do, but a lot of people tend to abort the game before I get to make my first move. While my rating isn't very high, I have come across someone in their 1800s also abort on me.

Is it just impatience, or is there something I'm missing? I do play 5+0 games so maybe I just get people that want a quick game without waiting?
It happens to me all the time.

I do think it's impatience more than fear.

Don't let it bother you.
I think they realize in that very moment, that 960 eventually will lead to the ultimate downfall of ( ¿¿ the human race ; the Universe; the FIDE; Capitalism-Marxism; Decency ?? ) - and they fear to partake in such atrocities.
