is bullet necessary?

Bullet is not chess. Even Grandmasters often play blunders that 1500s would not play in a classical game when the GM is playing bullet. Time is too much of a factor in determining the winner.

In regular chess, 2 things determine who is the victor:
1) Your chess skill
2) Your time management

Regular chess is usually about 90% skill 10% time management in determining the victor. Not to say time management is not important that extra 10% can often push you over the edge, but it's only 10% of it.

In Bullet chess, these things determine who is the victor:

1) Your internet connection speed
2) Your fingers manual dexterity
3) The quality of your mouse
4) Are any other programs currently running slowing your connection at all?
5) Time management
6) Chess skill

Chess skill only makes up about 10% of what is needed to be good at bullet... I would take a 10 year old kid that ate a lot of sugar with a fast internet connection that knows how to play legal moves fast with over say a 65-year-old GM on a slow connection with arthritis in his hands that has yet to have his morning coffee.

Chess skill is too little of a factor in bullet, and it's kids stuff.
In order to improve in bullet, we have to improve classical first !
@lurarose "Chess skill is too little of a factor in bullet, and it's kids stuff."
Bullshit. Look into titled arenas sometimes.
If the ULTRABULLET MANIACS read this forum , they will certainly start a quarrel!! 😂😇🤡
@gbtami again the top %1 is irrelevant to this discussion. There are people who are good at running on four legs over long distances, that does not mean that it's a better alternative than just, you know, running like a normal human being
We used to say about TV, transfer it to Bullet:

It makes the good better and the bad ones worse.
No it's a reason for that im not playing it. Bullet isn't chess. And i can't understand why GM or IM are playing it because like it been saying it's often that they are dropping piece they normally wouldn't do in rapid or classical games. What's the point`?

Im not a fan about blitz either because it's often that im having a huge lead with 2-3 points or even more, but im losing on the time because they are often continue too play on and losing because the time and im getting angry because i can't even think about one or two moves little bit before im getting time troubling. So it's just waste of my time after my opinion.

So it's not often that im playing either of those two time management. Just hate it. If i want too keep my computer alive or the computer mouse it's the best thing is not too play those two time management.
