About the Lichess follow system

A year ago, I asked @jeffforever the same question with my another account, "How to increase followers".

He replied, "Focus on improving on Chess, not on increasing the no. of followers"

Appreciate Thibault Sir's decision towards hiding the followers.

I really want to see who I follow and my followers. why remove the followers feature when majority of users like that feature?
