Classic Chess Tournament

I want to create a classic tournament, based on Round Robin and/or Knockout.

Now I understand from the forum that Lichess doesn't provide these options.

So I am thinking about creating a group for this purpose, but before I do, I wanna know if there is already a existing group for this?
And If not, if people would be interested?

I am thinking of holding the tournaments over the span of a week, so to give every player time and a chance to play. (Since we live in different parts of the world, different timezones and different obligations in real life) Game score will be posted in the group chat, along with the link to the game.
Scoreboard will be updated daily.

Sincerely Allan
hi, I created a discussion. a few days ago, on this topic, in the lichess forum (SWISS CHESS TOURNAMENT ON LICHESS). Since I am tired of seeing that the only possibility of creating tournaments is that based on the procedure provided by the site, which in my opinion is not very logical and does not guarantee all players the same chance of winning a tournament, also because it creates the matches and the rankings, in a very strange way,
I also wrote a message to the developer of the site (Thibault), but he still hasn't replied, I would be interested in this way of managing chess tournaments.I would like to know one thing: how do you plan to manage a swiss or round robin tournament and what software do you plan to use to manage it ?
My best regards
My plan is to use Lichess, and calculate and post the score in the score in the Group chat.
Played a person yesterday, he mentioned "Swissmaneger", I don't know that software, but looks likes it cost money. (Which I would like to avoid)
It is possible to do it on Lichess, and group leader will be responsible for updating the score in the group chat, and members are responsible to find time to play their opponents. (Over the span of a week)
It might not seem professional, and we can't earn tournament points, but it is functional.

Basically, we (group members) share a responsibility to play our opponents within the timespan of a week.
There are Lichess Leagues (team league of 45+45 and individual league LoneWolf of 30+30): www.lichess4545.com/

Some other chess teams are also organizing internal tournaments.
implementing full swiss pairing is not trivial task. Also on tournament where people are prone to not show up for next round perhaps not very good. So external group with agreed matched and punishments for no shows is good
@NaturalBornTraveller It's not all that "random", the platform is Slack all right, but these channels are specifically tailored for Lichess users to set up the kind of tournaments you are looking for.

All the members of the channel I pointed to are Lichess users wanting to play a Round Robin tournament on Lichess with long time control.
