People that don't move when they are loosing

When you play at say 45 minutes. After 10 min. they are loosing badly, then they don't play and let you waiting. Is their any limit that we can put for a move???
Well, sometimes those people just get distracted, once i lost because of timeout on the very first move, and yesterday i nearly lost a winning position because of lag blocking my net on the last hour (it was a correspondence game). sadly, my oponent didn't get so lucky and the time ran out. winning this way is not fun, really
sometimes we get the option to clam victory because they left the game, but short of that (unless the devs have something they can do) we can play shorter time controls, and gently but firmly remind people that such behavior is just plain rude. (and yes, if any of you do this sort of thing, it is much more polite to resign your games instead.
It happens a lot, at least with me. Even in tournaments. These people play ultra fast until they blunder away a queen or something, and then simply don't move until the clock runs out. This is especially annoying in tournaments, where you really want the game to end quickly, so you can win more points. I don't know how this behavior can be punished, but it certainly should be punished.

Maybe Thibault should post their IPs on the forum so we can find them and slap them in face a few times. Just kidding. =B^)

I think we should just encourage some good sportsmanship, here's a good advice for these guys: there's no shame in resigning a game. You're never gonna get better at chess if your ego gets in the way SO easily.
my solution is to simply open another game and keep an eye on the clock to ensure they do not move at the last second to try to timestall you. it usually happens me when i play pokemon.
@SJMistery, good solution :)

When that happens, I use the time to watch some videos at youtube - or talk at messegers to my friends.

After the game ends, is really importante click at report button at opponent profile and report the bad attitude :)

generally specking, people who do this have left the game, so logically it is easier or stings less to simply leave then to resign. that doesn't make it any less tacky.
I've run into a player with almost 1900 losses on this site, and I'd say over 90% of them he's "run out of time" or left a game. And by both of those, I mean intentionally killing most of his clock in lost positions. Very few are by resignation or checkmate. I've reported him twice, but he's still trucking along.
Question is, does it happen often or does it seem like it happens often because its so annoying ?Try writing down how many times it happens compared to how many games you play and then it may seem more acceptable or if not , you have some stats to pass to the people in charge :)
When it has happened to me I will not play the person again If i can remember their name. Maybe I should write it down :)
