I mean dropping figures with check should be forbidden. It's stupid.
I've always considered drop check/mate to be part of the Crazyhouse and Bughouse: you have to actually keep note of what material your opponent has and consider tactics accordingly.

To forbid drop-mates is an artificial restriction. It's basically saying "you can't make a move that is too good".
Why would it be forbidden? The variant is derived from Shogi (Japanese chess) and the only drop rule that is forbidden in Shogi is that you cannot drop a pawn for checkmate. Checking and even mates with drops are perfectly acceptable. Why should it be different in Crazyhouse? In fact, not allowing pieces to drop for check would make the variant mostly unplayable.
