Firefox and the board/pieces

same problem still here: firefox 47.0 and opensuse(linux)

even withou hardware acceleration the problem is here.
linux & FF 47.0

On my desktop I don't have this problem, but now I reproduced it on my laptop. Ubuntu 16.04, FF 47.0.

Any ideas on how to fix it? I've installed Chrome to play, but it's also somewhat different

I could reproduce this in latest firefox beta 48.b06, while having multiprocess windows turned off (it works if enabling it, but maybe not recommended).

However, I couldn't find a way to reproduce in firefox nighly 50.0a1.20160711034039, so it might be fixed when firefox 50 ships.

I could not find the fix in their bugtracker though, and I won't spend time trying to find the fix in the code for a backport to earlier release. It might be possible to find a workaround in lichess, not sure.

(If you have fx 48, you could try enabling multiprocess by changing browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 in about:config to true and restart; however I don't recommend that unless you know what it means)

I have seen this also (to apply in association with hardware acceleration removal) :

Try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.

What and where is OMTC

I just turned on Hardware accelerations and it fixed my problem.
