Make your voice heard on Lichess priorities

I wrote about that in the feedback too:
"Bad computer's play level when training mode in analysis

Why does the computer play worse than Stockfish level 8 when training mode in analysis? How to increase computer abilities? I mean the cases when in the endgame, if there is a clear advantage, the computer does not even resist. If you run Stockfish 8, then it is much more difficult to beat it (to realize the advantage). In general, it would be better if computer level in the training mode can also be adjusted.

For example it happens in this position (FEN):
8/7p/8/p1k5/P4K2/7P/6P1/8 w - - 1 35"

Hey, @StopMaskers. Everybody gets your point. Unless they are Liches developpers.

Funny thing is: You always get the same answers ("for the computer a won position is a won position" ... "It is won according to tablebase anyways, why discern?" ... "not reproduceable" ... or Toadofsky's favourite: "You just should use Stockfish on a console version not in the UI of Lichess" etc.) until you start to doubt yourself. But it is really very evident.

But no worry ... as soon as there are 50 comments, the thread doesn't get updated anymore, and your question vanishes in oblivion.

If computer makes the right moves, then even in a "won" position it is not easy to beat him.

Give them this position: 8/7p/8/p1k5/P4K2/7P/6P1/8 w - - 1 35

Yes I can use console Stockfish or even better Lucas Chess. But then there is no sense in the training mode and I have to switch to another program. Why does everything work when playing with the computer and in normal analysis, but not in training mode?
It's all so strange. As I understand, the training mode works on the client, as well as the analysis (analysis switch is on when training). So it can't even be explained by saving computing resources. And if this is such a bug, then why it has not yet been fixed?
I had the feeling that the developers don't care about feedback and the users. Now I have a confirmation. I don't think it would be that hard to fix. Are they doing this intentionally? Lichess conspiracy theory )

Is that why they did autoarchiving threads in the forums?
But it breaks the possibility of normal communication. For example, it prevents someone from responding to a blog post. Because all the discussion threads are soon archived (after one month from the date of publication or the last response, as I understand it). So one can only responds to recent blog posts and can't discuss them further. It also makes it impossible to communicate in team forums. While I can use console Stockfish, I cannot use console forum. WTF with this site?
Forum threads are archived after awhile so they can be migrated to read-only databases and not eat up space for studies, teams, users, prefs, etc stuff that needs to be writable.

As I understand, it is just a consequence of the way the code works given the infrastructure that Lichess can afford. I'm sure it has been logged before but feel free to search GitHub and comment there, maybe something can be done. github.com/lichess-org/lila/issues
I understand now. But maybe it could be improved so that if you need to add a new post to the thread, the thread would be unarchived again. Or at least not to archive blog posts and team posts. Or at least that it would be possible to unarchive blog posts and team posts again.

Or, for example, if a new post is added to an already archived thread, then a new shadow thread is created, which is linked to the current one and is its continuation. Then, that new thread also have been archived, so the all thread will consist of several archives. I do not know if this can be implemented.

Well, that explains the behavior of the forum (if it really allows to save a lot of resources), although with this behavior it is not possible to use this to discuss blogs (also for communication in teams I think it creates problems). I think at least the blog discussions may not be archived, I think they do not take up so much space.

But the question of ignoring the bug in training mode remains open.

I think there really aren't that many bugs. Just some strange attitude, some excuses and just nonsense, according to what @Sybotes wrote.

I heard of CrazyHouse. BugHouse is BugCrazyHouse or double CrazyHouse. I guess you can add yet more boards to increase the chaos )

There's website www.pychess.org/ for variants. Maybe they will implement this.
I visited it now and there is suddenly the discussion of Bughouse variant in the chat room on the main page.
@Cedur216 said in #48:

To create Bughouse game, it is necessary to synchronize pair Crazyhouse games. Swiss tournament mode would be suitable for this. And that when you capture a piece, it goes into your teammate's pocket.
That is, there are two Crazyhouse-like games with two players in each. Developers just need to implement data transfer between these games, so that the captured pieces go into the pockets of the bound game.
So it's easier to implement than it seems and quite possible for lichess developers. In fact, almost all mechanics of Bughouse game is already implemented in Crazyhouse game.
