How am I so good at Rapid and so bad in blitz

The title says it all.

idk, do you take a while to think about each move? that would make you very skillful in longer time controls, but easy to flag in shorter ones (:

You've also only played a few games for both of the time controls, so you probably still have some provisional action in your rating gain/loss.

Yeah, you can say so. I like to play 15+10 time control tournaments in my district. Although my recent one wasn't so good. 29th out of 101

Lol! that's actually very good in my standards :P

But like I said, your rating is somewhat provisional, so maybe play around 100 more games for both.

Yeah I noticed that too. In some games 14+ in others 34+. LOL

Nah, I have better. Best was 19 out of some 150.

For the record, neither "29th out of 100" nor "19th out of 150" says much without an idea of your opponents' strength. That's why rating performance is usually used as a measure. It can be misleading, too, but it still gives you better idea than just the score or rank.

Playing chess with a slow and steady style is that chess coaches want to their students to achieve.
So, you are someone my coach would love to train.

Whereas, whenever I lose a game with time ending early, I get scolded =)))
so be proud of your advantage in patiently calculating each move.
