Why Lichess is not so good than Chess.com or Playok.com?

I remember the day when the same thing was said about chess.com - a site already very liquid, with many players -, I mean the lack of titled players, especially GMs.

By then titled players, truly big name GMs were all playing at ICC. Chess.com was not recognized as a serious place by then.

I think any site which has considerable and growing number of followers will sooner or later be recognized by titled players and they will start playing on that site.

The same is true for Lichess. The key whether it can attract a truly large number of players, if so then titled players will come along automatically.

Which probably explains the exponential growth in titled players in recent months.

I think the 4000-5000 simul players number is just fine, only that it should be the daily minimum rather than the maximum. If day and night there would be at least 4000-5000 players playing here simultaneously, which can go up to as high as 7000-8000 daily peak, Lichess could no longer be ignored by high ranking titled players.

chess.com is of the Paradise of Cheaters! Especially paid accounts, if you pay, you can play with a engine 3000 without any problem there.

chessok.com is for Russians. At my timezone I will never find players online.

icc.com is almost dead. Just for elite players, above 2000, especially GMs.

playchess.com is alive because when they sell a chess program you earn six months to play there.

Lichess.com is very new and is growing up fast. How can anyone tell at this moment Lichess is not the better place to play chess online?

Today, for me, there is only a good place to play chess: Lichess!

Comparing chess.com and lichess is similar to compare Windows and Linux. Most people know Linux is better but keep using Windows (me included). In terms of chess I use lichess.

Lichess is the best chess website for playing on the net.

Although there are 2 other very useful chess websites online as well.

1) youtube watching GM lectures, and games much can be learned via video.

2) chessgames.com a good database of games to look at, this site actually surpasses lichess when it comes to game databse.

Of course lichess is many times better than any other chess website.

An interesting thing at chess.com, the word lichess is not allowed there. They obviously know lichess is better and they're afraid of it. They know they can only exist if their victims don't know they're paying for something they can get for free here.

An example is at chess.com the users have to pay the most expensive fee to get the best computer analysis of their games and it's very likely it's inferior to what lichess offers for free.

I just noticed another feature at lichess. A person can click "Help: lichess.org/YWaV7Vze" to find out the checkmate in one move required to be able to write a comment. I was curious so I clicked it. The entire game is provided.

At lichess numerous improvements are constantly being made. The world's most perfect chess website is getting better every day.

I am a frequent user of chess.com and chess24.com.
Lichess is overall superior and I love it!

Nevertheless chess is better in videos and chess.com has larger correspondence leagues.
